About Paul Fisher
Professional Motorcycle Instructor, Adventurer, & attorney
Paul's Story
Paul Fisher has been an avid motorcyclist for over 40 years. During that time, he has traveled on five continents, riding everything from adventure bikes to touring machines.
As a Certified Rider Coach with the Motorcycle Safety Foundation, Paul teaches both the MSF BasicRider Course (BRC), and the MSF AdventureBike RiderCourse (ADVRC). Paul has a passion for riding and teaching others about the joys of adventure motorcycle travel. With that in mind, Paul drew on his experience and established Lodestar Moto to offer the adventure riding community quality training, tours and motorcycle travel gear.
Paul’s work for the motorcycle community carries over from Lodestar into his law practice. “I’ve represented fellow riders in accident cases for many years and along the way I’ve seen a lot of injuries that could have been avoided if the rider and been better trained. That inspired me to become a riding instructor for MSF, so I could teach other’s what I know.” Over the course of handling hundreds of motorcycle accident cases Paul has become a recognized expert in motorcycle accident law and motorcycle safety. His love for the sport and sincere desire to help other riders enjoy it safely comes through in everything he does for Lodestar.
Additionally, Paul is a combat veteran having served eight years in the U.S. Army. Four of those years were spent with the 82nd Airborne Division in an airborne infantry reconnaissance unit, where Paul mastered land navigation skills, outdoor survival techniques, and other critical skills that come in handy in remote travel conditions. As Paul likes to say, “I’ve loved riding bikes since I was a kid, the military taught me to love being outdoors and adventure motorcycles combined the two.”
